Bill established the firm in 1989 and is recognized as one of the most influential mergers and acquisitions principals in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Having directed over 150 transactions during his tenure, Bill has worked extensively across several industries including building products, manufacturing, health care, technology, financial services, retail, and business and consumer services. Prior to founding the Bundy Group, Bill worked as a management consultant for the industrial and healthcare sectors.
Bill is active with several M&A organizations, including M&A Source, where he serves as a board member, and CVBBA, where he serves as one of the founding members. Bill holds the designations of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (M&AMI). Bill has also served as Chairman of numerous other community organizations, including the New Century Venture Center, Better Business Bureau of Western Virginia, and the Salvation Army of Roanoke, Va.
Mr. Bundy received a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from East Tennessee State University with a concentration in Finance and Marketing. Bill holds the Series 79 and 63 securities license designation from the NASD.
John Lee

John joined the firm in 1992. Having led over 75 transactions during his tenure with Bundy Group, John has developed broad experience in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, service, consumer and retail, and food and beverage. John has specific expertise in M&A transactions for the construction industry, having directed numerous transactions in concrete and asphalt-related businesses.
Mr. Lee received a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech.
Jim Mullens

During his tenure with Bundy Group, Jim has led numerous transactions in the manufacturing, food and beverage, and business and consumer services sectors. Previously, he worked in business development and technology related roles in the insurance and software engineering industries, serving public and private company clients.
Mr. Mullens received a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics and Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College.
Clint Bundy

Clint leads the firm’s Charlotte office. Previously, he worked with Wachovia’s Mergers & Acquisitions team where he advised both public and private companies in a variety of industries including real estate, healthcare, defense and aerospace, building products, business services, and technology. Prior to investment banking, Clint served as a project financial controller with Accenture.
Mr. Bundy attended the Wake Forest University MBA program as a Dean’s Scholar where he graduated with a concentration in finance. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia where he earned a BA in Government and Economics. Clint holds the Series 7, 63 and 79 securities license designation from the NASD.
